About Gail
My heart goes out to
women who are struggling! I'm passionate about sharing and I welcome the opportunity to discuss working with you as your personal Life Coach, or as a speaker/teacher for your group. I was a single mother of three for sixteen years. I know the struggles, the heartaches, and the day-to-day difficulties of being single and head of a household. Though I am happily remarried, my heart’s desire is to offer seeds of guidance to single moms. My Passion I believe that education is the key to the door that opens to a brighter future for women, especially single women. Single mothers need a skill. I commit a great deal of time and effort into this because I know the difference it made for me. Personal I married Sam in 1996. We live in Nederland, Texas with two precious poodles -Prissy and Portia. Together we have six grown children and fifteen grandchildren. Sam supports me in every effort to bless single mothers. Author My stories have been published in various magazines. See "Publications" above. Gail holds a Master’s degree from The University of Texas and she worked in public education for twenty years. In 2015 her book, Living Learning Loving, was published. It chronicles her personal experiences and the lessons she learned. I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. Credentials are important, but more important is my life experiences and heart for women. Technology makes it possible to coach clients long distance and still be effective. |
As a Life Coach . .
"As your life coach, teacher or guide I will:
I have a passion for coaching women, especially single mothers and even more especially women making life changes who may also be single moms. Moms who parent alone because their husbands are in the military or in prison are, in essence, single mothers. I'm familiar with the pot-holes, pests, and perils that women face. As an Online Teacher. . .
I have taught all ages. Kindergarten through college and beyond. I hold a Master's Degree from The University of Texas in curriculum and instruction. I thoroughly enjoy sharing knowledge and opening pathways for the learner to have a better life. That is why I say my courses are designed to "make life better." As an author. . .
Living Learning Loving, Lessons of Insight & Encouragement on the Path of Motherhood Brings hope and encouragement to mothers who are parenting alone, or may feel that they are. Inspires women of all ages to reach their highest potential. Her stories touch home with moms and offer life lessons that make the way a little easier to navigate. This book is an honest heartfelt and transparent story of one woman's walk through the tough times of life. It can be perfect for a mom to read on her own or to be used as a group study. The thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter open the way for discussion and spiritual growth. As SMORE for Women, Founder. . . SMORE for Women which was organized in 2007 is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, alliance of women whose goal is - Single Moms :: Overjoyed, Rejuvenated, & Empowered! In August 2020 LaToya James, our next single mom student will be given monthly support while she completes a nursing degree at Lamar University. As a Speaker. . . I've been speaking publicly all my life. I enjoy using the speaking platform to share the stories of my life in a way that inspires others. Why Gail? Gail has produced babies, Braille, and burnout—and bears witness to the benefits of all three. Her heart is in this ministry. Moms benefit from Gail's personal and often transparent stories with lessons for ways to approach life that make a real difference. Moms are restored, encouraged, and motivated by the inspired messages Gail presents. Now that she is remarried and her children are grown she writes, speaks, and teaches online to deliver messages to individuals on overcoming the obstacles in their lives. ![]() An Experienced Mama Bird Who Feathers the Nests of Younger Chicks with Wisdom
